Suggested items	Armor, weapons, and food for dealing with ogres. An axe, a knife, a chisel, a hundred or so feathers, a couple sets of Wolf bones.

Start: Rantz is standing more or less in the middle of nowhere south east of the Ogre city. Look at the minimap for the quest star and look for "hollow trees" and "archy trees". Talk to Rantz and agree to make him some "stabbers" (arrows).

First cut 2 logs from the archy tree, use a knife to cut them into ogre arrow shafts. Then use the feathers with them to make six "flighted ogre arrows". Now use the chisel with the wolf bones to make Wolf Bone arrow tips, you'll get a random number of tips from each set. Finally, use the tips with the flighted arrows to make the Ogre Arrows. Talk to Rantz and he'll take your arrows.

But all is not well! Da chompies seem to be rather clever and do not wish to enter the range of Rantz's archery. The solution is, of all things, to get some bloated toads. Da chompies love da toadies, see? When dey fat on de swamp gas. Go into the cave north of Rantz and search the Ogre chest for some ogre bellows. Now head south west of Rantz to a swamp surrounded by toads. Use the bellows with some swamp bubbles, then use the bellows with a toad to inflate it. Once you have three, go talk to Rantz again.

Rantz will then show you wear to place da toadies... I mean, toads as bait. Make sure you "drop" the toads, don't release them or you'll have to get more. Eventually, a chompy bird will come along and Rantz will try to shoot it (but fail miserably). Go ask him if you can try. You might have to do this more than once, Rantz can be stubborn and the Birds don't always take the bait.

Rantz will reluctantly agree to let you have a go. He gives you the Ogre Bow you'll need more Ogre arrows to shoot and more toads for bait. Put them in the clearing and wait for your chompy bird. When it happens along, you'll see an arrow pointing at it. Shoot it with the bow. Once you've killed a Chompy, run over and pluck it. Then pick up the Plucked Chompy and go talk to Rantz.

Given the fact that you will do almost anything for 2 quest points, Rantz figures you'll cook the Chompy for him now too. He, Facie, and Bugs want different seasonings on their Chompy, got talk to Facie and Bugs in the cave. You should be able to find them all in the general area. Collect the ingredients and use the Chompy on the spit in front of the cave (you'll add the ingredients automatically). Now go talk to Rantz again.
