To start the quest, you need to talk to Sanfew in Taverly. Go to the second floor of the Herb shop and ask Sanfew if there is anything else that needs to be done to reclaim the circle. He'll tell you they need something the Trolls call "goutweed". Sanfew thinks Eadgar may be able to help too.

To get to Eadgar's house, go back through the secret Troll Stronghold entrance and up the stairs until you find the main entrance. The go down through the little camp below. Now head roughly east, you'll find a really big montain. Eadgar's cave is near the top. Eadgar will advise you to ask one of the Troll cooks, found in the Stronghold.

Go back to the Stronghold and head south of the entrance until you find some stairs. Go down and you'll be in the Troll kitchen. Talk to the Troll chef named Burntmeat, he doesn't want to eat you but he does want a tasty human for his stew! Time to get some more advice from Mad Eadgar.

Eadgar has a plan, apparently. But the first thing he needs is a Parrot from the Zoo in Ardougne. You'll need some Pineapple Chunks and Vodka to get a Parrot. You can get both a pineapple and a bottle of Vodka from the Grand Tree, on the second floor near the Blueberry Bar. Use a bottle of Vodka on the pineapple chunks, then use the "Alco Chunks" on the little door in the side of the cage, and you'll get a Parrot out of the cage. Now you need to take it back to Eadgar.

Eadgar is now ready to reveal his master plan, all you need to do is make something that looks, sounds, smells, and tastes like a human! What he wants to do is build a scarecrow. To make it sound human, you need to parrot. Use the parrot on Eadgar and Eadgar will tell you to put it somewhere in the Troll Prison. Go back down there and hide the Parrot under the torture rack, then go talk to Eadgar again and collect the other stuff you need.

To make it taste human, Eadgar figures five raw chickens will work. Everything tastes like chicken. You'll also need some a set of logs to make the scarecrow, and 10 sheathes of grain for stuffing.

To make it smell human, you need to get some old clothes from Sanfew. Sanfew will tell you to get some dirty robes from another Druid, you can find him downstairs near the lake and a row of robes hanging out to dry.

Take everything back to Eadgar, he'll take care of making the dummy but you'll need something to make sure the Trolls will tell you where to get some Goutweed. Now you need to find some Troll Thistle around the mountain. You'll also need a pestle and mortar, a vial of water, and a rannar weed. You should be able to find the thistle outside Eadgar's cave, near the patches of grass. Use it with a fire, then a pestle and mortar, and then an unfinished Rannar potion to get the troll potion.

Now go back down to the dungeons of the Troll Stronghold and fetch the parrot back to Eadgar. Eadgar will now give you the "Fake Human". Talk to Burntmeat again and he'll give you... Burntmeat. Then ask him how the stew was, he'll say he like it. Now ask him about the Goutweed, the Trolls gathered it all up years ago and keep it in a downstairs storeroom, the key is in one of the Kitchen drawers. Open and search them until you've got a store room key.

Go downstairs and head North, unlock the door to the storeroom. You'll get to a room full of crates and Trolls. The trolls will knock you out and throw you outside if they catch you. So you need to be careful. Bring a lot of food, maybe some energy potions. The trolls are pretty tough to get past. The Goutweed is against the south wall.

First you need to go straight west just after a troll passes in front of the doorway, then run to a U shaped collection of crates and wait there for another troll to pass where you're standing. Follow him through the crates, you should be able to get to the crate and search it. Then the troll thats sleeping next to it will wake up and kick you out again, but they don't take your Goutweed.

Now go back to Sanfew and collect your reward!
