Rise of the Red Axe: Part I
To start the quest, you need to go to the Dwarf ferry. You need to go East of Rellekka and find a cave. Note that there is a Slayer cave to the south. The cave you are looking for will have a crack just inside the entrance and two statues of Dwarves. Go through the crack, the Dwarf boatman should be nearby. Talk to him to go to Keldagrim and begin the first part of the Rise of the Red Axe: The Giant Dwarf.
You'll start off this quest with an overview of Keldagrim's history and the layout of the city. The Dwarves founded a Monarchy and a Consortium to protect Keldagrim and make the Dwarf city profitable. However, the power of the Monarchy waned quickly and before long, the Consortium controlled Keldagrim and the line of kings was extinguished. Now, five hundred years later, you start down the underground river Keld.
On the way to Keldagrim, the Dwarven ferryman crashes into the giant statue of King Alvis and it shatters. On arrival at the dock, the Black Guards arrest you and take you to Commander Veldaban. Luckily, the Dwarves don't care about King Alvis anymore. Also, if you've done the "Between a Rock" quest, you'll have helped Veldaban's father. Veldaban asks that you help the Dwarf sculptors with replacing the statue, agree to help.
You need to talk to Blasidar the Sculptor, he lives in the center of the eastern part of the city near the pick axe store. Blasidar needs 3 things to start: A fine pair of boots, clothing like King Alvis wore, and King Alvis' battle axe. You'll need to search Keldagrim for these items.
The boots are fairly easy to get. First go to the North-Eastern corner of Keldagrim, this is the armor shop. Talk to the dwarf that runs the shop and ask about special boots. The Dwarf has sold all his fine boots to other customers. The only nice pair of boots in Keldagrim are the ones that Dromund has bought. The dwarf will give you directions to Dromund's house. However, Dromund refuses to part with the boots.
You must steal the boots, you can only take a boot when Dromund is facing away from you, preferably on the far side of the room. The left boot can be stolen off the table but the cat sitting next to the right boot won't let you take it. You will need to Telegrab the boot from outside, go around the house to the window directly behind the table with the boot on it. When Dromund isn't looking cast a telegrab on the boot.
Go west of Blasidar's house and find the clothes stall in the large building. Talk to the proprietor and tell her you need special clothes. She'll need the designs from the Librarian in west Keldagrim to make clothes like ones the statue was modeled off of.
The Librarian will tell you that you need to find the "Scholar's Guide to Dwarven Costumes", he does not know which bookcase he left it in, so you'll have to search them. Find the book and take it back to the clothes stall. You need to start up the sewing machine with a coal ore and a set of logs. Then use a tinderbox on them to light them. Finally pay Vermudi 200 coins to get the clothes. Talk to the sculptor and then give the clothes to the model.
Now you need the axe, go to the North-Western corner of Keldagrim and speak to the Dwarf that runs the weapon shop. Ask him about the King's Axe. Tell him you need it for Blasidar's statue. The dwarf will tell you its been damage badly, it needs a sapphire hilt and the blade must be repaired. You can repair the hilt yourself but only an Imcando dwarf can repair the blade. The dwarf along the cliffs south of Port Sarim is an Imcando Dwarf.
You can use the mine carts to get to the right part of RuneScape a little faster. Go south of Port Sarim and around the cliff along the beach. Talk to the dwarf and ask him about the Ancient Axe. He'll look at the axe for a Redberry Pie, just like in the Knight's Sword quest. If you've got the pie, talk to the dwarf and offer him the pie. He'll really enjoy it, then ask him about the axe again. He'll need one bar of iron to start work on the axe. When he is done, you'll be given the option to return straight to Keldagrim.
You now have all the pieces of the costume, talk to Blasidar and the talk to his model, Riki. Now that Riki is fully dressed work can begin on the statue. The problem is the Consortium directors all want to put their own face on the statue's head! You need to talk to a director to sort the issue out, but the directors will only talk to people that have helped the company. Pick one of the companies and talk to its secretary, first ask to talk to the director, then Keep asking for jobs until the secretary says to speak with the director. The jobs are to fetch some kind of ore. You need to do about five of these before you can talk to the director.
Tell the director you come from Blasidar the Sculptor, he'll explain that the Consortium can't decide who to put on the statue. Say you'd support him and he'll be grateful but you need to be a member of the Consortium before you can help. You'll need to perform one more task, this time you'll need to collect bars, so having extra coal in your bank is a good idea. Complete the task and ask join his company. You'll be prompted to go talk to Veldaban again.
Talk to Veldaban and ask to he'll tell you a meeting is starting, agree to go to the meeting and you'll have a cutscene in which you choose the director whose company you joined to be on the statue. You'll get to see the finished statue, and
