To start this quest you need to get to the Mountain Camp. You first need to go east of Rellekka until you see a stone in a path going up into the mountains. On the other side is a guard who won't let you climb over the stone. There is another path a little to the north, it climbs above the first path. In the way is another boulder, you should tie a rope to this boulder and let yourself down onto the first path, bypassing the guard. Follow the path until you find the mountain camp.

In one of the tents, you'll find the chief of the mountain camp. Talk to him, first ask about his people. He'll explain how they split off from the rest of the province because the people of Rellekka were too civilized, relying on their tools and not their skills to too great a degree. Then ask why they haven't moved on and he'll explain that his daughter has gone missing and they won't leave without her. Ask to search for the cheif's daughter to start the quest.

South of the chief's tent is a rock spawn and some mud. Dig in the mud to get some sticky mud. Go a bit north until you find several mountain goats, in the yard you'll find a pole, take that as well. Now follow the trail north of the goatyard along until you come to a large pool. Listen to the pool, there seems to be sound coming from the center. Further along the trail you'll find the chief's daughter's betrothed, Ragnar. Talk to him about the cheif's daughter. He'll tell you that she loved to sit in the middle of the pool and sing. If you listen to the pool, you'll also here faint singing coming from it.

Use the mud on the dead tree next to the pool, you'll be able to climb up it and drop onto one the stones in the pool. Now use the pole with the climb of rocks to vualt to the next rock. Finally use a plank on the flat stone to cross to the center of the pool. Listen to the pool again and you'll hear the voice of the chief's daughter. She has died and her spirit lingers about the pool because her people run short of food and will not make peace with the people of Rellekka. She will ask you to help her people, accept her tasks.

Go back and talk to the chief, he'll refuse to believe his daughter is dead but you can then ask him about Rellekka and their food supply. Apparently, the chief sent a representative named Svidi to Rellekka but they haven't hear from him since he left the camp. Svidi is skulking around north of the Swaying Tree, about mid way between the mountains and Rellekka, he refuses to enter the town without a guarantee of safe passage. Brundt, the chief of the town, won't talk to Svidi unless the mountain campers return an ancient rock that was taken from Rellekka when the mountain people first left the town.

Go back to the camp and talk to the chief again, he'll refuse to return the rock. Go into the large guarded tent where the rock is kept and break it in two with a pickaxe. Take your half back to Brundt and he'll give you a writ of safe passage for Svidi. Talk to Svidi and he'll agree to talk to Brundt.

Go back to the camp and talk to the chief again, you now need to find a food supply. Go talk to the goatherd near the chief's tent and he'll talk about a special fruit that grows in the snowy mountains. Since the White Pearl it will grow anywhere, it'd be a perfect food source for the people in the mountain camp. Go to the top of the White Wolf mountain, next to the glider you'll find a thorny bush. While wearing gloves, pick from it to get a White Pearl fruit. Eat it and you'll get the White Pearl fruit seed. Take the see back to the mountain camp chief.

Go back to the center of the pool and listen to the spirit again. She'll tell you now to find her body to prove to her father that she is dead. She only remembers being near the lake when she died. Follow the path around until you find some trees in front of a cave. Facing the cave, cut the ones in your way down with an axe. Go into the cave and keep going until you reach a large chamber, near the middle there will be large pile of bones and the body of the chief's daughter. Try to take it and the Kendal will appear (actually, its a man in a bearsuit). Talk to the Kendal, first say you're no one special and then say he looks like a man in a bearsuit. Keep talking to him until you can demand to take the remains back to the mountain chief.

The Kendal will attack you (level 71), defeat him and you'll get a bear hood. You'll also be able to take the remains. Take the girl's remains back to the chief and he'll finally be convinced. You now need to give her a proper burial at the center of the pool where her spirit is bound. To bury her properly you need something that belonged to her and 5 stones (these spawn around the camp) to build a cairn. Talk to Ragnar again, he'll give you a necklace he meant to give to the mountain chief's daughter. Go to the center of the lake and bury the remains, then use a stone on the grave and you'll build the cairn.
